Greetings friends and faithful supporters!
Thank you for staying in touch with us as Coram Deo begins to grow. We’re now 8 weeks post-launch on August 3 at Willow Spring High School. Sundays have been great, and the ministry is flourishing. We are seeing new faces every week. Our teams are developing.
I’d like to mark a few highlights from the past weeks.
New Supporting Churches
Since the day our planting journey began last year, the Lord has brought many churches to our side. Space fails to write of the stories he has woven together to bring about the support needed.
Earlier this month we were greeted by Josh Miller, a pastor from one of our supporting churches, Hamilton Baptist in Virginia. He brought a word of greeting and encouragement.

And the support continues! We’re pleased to say LifePoint Community Church in nearby Willow Spring, NC has become a financial and ministry partner. Thank you Nathan Redinger for your leadership!
First Coram Deo 101
Since our launch day many people have desired to become members of Coram Deo. What a blessing! Last Sunday we held our first membership class with 12 families! The process will continue with membership applications, elder interviews and a congregational vote. Please pray for Coram Deo, our leaders and these new families as we walk this road together. Our next CD101 class is October 17-18. The Lord is building his church!

The Ministry House
Our church leadership has been praying for a way to establish a presence near the church plant area, launch a student ministry, provide office space, and expand our storage.
By the Lord’s grace, CDBC is now proud rental tenants of a ministry house across the street from Willow Spring HS! It is a newly remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 full bath ranch, with several closets throughout. There is a full kitchen, an open floor plan living space, and a back deck. The yard is over an acre and is mostly shaded. It’s able to host outdoor assemblies with adequate parking. This space will be used for offices, meetings and much ministry!
If you would like to give a financial gift to help us with monthly rent, please visit our church center platform. We thank you for your support of this “home base” for Coram Deo.

The Pillar Network
We’re excited to announce that CDBC is now officially a part of the Pillar Network. From early in our planting journey we knew that we’d share their 6-point DNA and their mission to equipping, planting and revitalizing churches. CDBC is in the south Wake region in greater Raleigh, along with our sending churches Redeemer Community and Fairview Baptist. Check out this latest podcast episode featuring our partnership. Further, we look forward to attending the Unite conference next month at Southeastern Seminary and participating in a panel discussion.

Please stay in touch through our website and Facebook page. Thank you again for your interest and support of Coram Deo Baptist.
And as always, if you’re in the area please join us on Sundays.
Blessings!
