Kids Ministry

Building a Foundation of Faith.

Our children's ministry exists to assist parents in leading their children to follow Jesus. We provide a safe and loving environment where children can learn to know Jesus, understand His Word, and share His love with others.

About Coram Deo Kids Ministry, Mission, and Goals.

Our Children's Ministry aims to join parents in shepherding their children. It is not the role of the church to replace parents, but to equip and walk alongside them. Our hope and prayer is that by God's grace, these children would bear much fruit in following Jesus.

  • Safety

We take extensive steps to ensure that every child feels and remains safe while in our care. Each volunteer teacher is a church member or screened ministry partner who has been vetted through a background check.

  • Age-Appropriate Teaching

Each lesson and activity strives to help children know Jesus and understand His Word. We use a mix of theologically sound curriculum and resources overseen and approved by our Elders.

  • A Welcoming Environment

Each class has someone at the door to greet you and ensure your children are in the right place. If your child has specific health needs, food allergies, or anything the teacher should know, you can provide that at check-in.

What Sundays Look Like

Kids Sermon on Sunday Mornings.

Our children's ministry is graduated by age to serve every child well. Infants (birth through 2 years) receive tender, trained care so parents can attend worship with ease. Toddlers (2 through pre-K) are taught early lessons of the gospel by caring volunteers. And kids in kindergarten through 2nd grade join the Sunday gathering to learn the grammar of worship through song and prayer before returning to their classroom where the sermon is taught on their level. Older kids are also offered a themed Sunday bulletin designed to help retain and apply the message.

What We Teach

Gospel-Centered Curriculum.

We use a mix of theologically sound curriculum and resources that help children of all ages come to understand the Bible. All content is overseen and approved by our Elders.
