Originally sent to distribution list on 10.27.25. Posting here for convenience.  — Greeting friends and faithful supporters! Thank you for staying in touch with us as Coram Deo begins to grow. We’re now 12 weeks post-launch from August 3 at Willow Spring High School. Sundays have been great, and the ministry is flourishing. We are seeing new faces every week. Our teams are developing, and serving beyond Sunday. For example:
    • Last Saturday was a full day! Amanda Cole led a team to serve at Angier’s Trunk-or-Treat. They had 2,000 in attendance! We were able to connect with town leadership and reach out to patrons of the festival. A huge success.
    • Yet another team served at the Ministry House for our October student hangout. Pumpkin carving, a bonfire and burgers in the grill. We had four new students! Pray for us as we seek to engage the new families of Angier, and build a disciple-making student ministry.
We thank the Lord for what he is doing in and through our people. Your support is helping us stand up as a new church, grow on Sundays and plant a flag for Christ in our community. Here are a few other top highlights from this month. Second Coram Deo 101 Class Since our launch day many people have desired to become members of Coram Deo. Just a few weeks back we held our second class with another 9 new families. Thank you Redeemer Community Church for hosting us! The process will continue with membership applications, elder interviews and a congregational vote. Please pray for Coram Deo, our leaders and these membership candidates. The next CD101 will be in January at the Ministry House. New Baby: Sailor James King Since Coram Deo was born on August 3, we’ve had three new babies born among our congregation. The latest belongs to one of our own staff members, Haley King. Her daughter, Sailor James was born happy and healthy October 7. Pray for Haley and Josh as they grow as new parents. If you would like to support our NAMB church plant team members, Haley King or Amanda Cole, click the link provided below their staff bios. New Supporting Churches Earlier this month we were greeted by Matt Capps, pastor of Fairview Baptist (our sending church). He presented Coram Deo with a generous financial gift on behalf of Fairview. You can see the excitement! And the support continues! We’re pleased to say Central Baptist Church in nearby Wendell, NC has become a financial and ministry partner. Thank you pastor Ed Rose for your kindness, friendship and support. Our First Baptisms! Last but certainly not least, we had our first baptisms earlier this month. Emme Staley and Ady Dailey, two young girls who came to faith in Christ last year at Fairview, were baptized on October 5 in the WSHS courtyard. They shared their testimonies during the service and were baptized at the close of the morning. It was a great day celebrating the gospel. Special thanks to RDMR Church in Cary for giving us a baptistry! — Please stay in touch through our website and Facebook page. Thank you again for your interest and support of Coram Deo Baptist. And as always, if you’re in the area please join us on Sundays, 10:00 a.m. at Willow Spring High School. Blessings! Coram Deo Ps. We sent a vision team to New Bedford, MA last month. We’re exploring a partnership with a church planting network called Neighborhood Churches. Pray for wisdom and clarity. These are exciting times!
